The installer's eye, on the owner's side.

[Founder name] comes to this from two directions at once: IT and networking on one side, hands-on access control and camera work in multi-family construction on the other.

That is why the drawings get read here the way an installer reads them, and the specifications get written so an installer can't misread them. The design and the site are understood as one thing.

How we work

We work from drawings and door schedules, attend the coordination meetings, and check the rough-in before it disappears behind drywall. On a home, we work with the architect and the interior designer from the plans onward, so keypads land where they were intended and equipment is concealed without becoming unserviceable.

We consult only. We design, specify and review; we don't sell or install hardware. That keeps the advice independent, and it means the documents you receive can go to any qualified contractor for pricing. If a project needs an installer, we help you find and evaluate one, and then we check their work.

We keep the number of systems down. Fewer, well-integrated products beat many partially connected ones — for the owner, for whoever services it next, and for the annual cost of keeping it running.

Where we work

Based in Metro Vancouver, working across the region and the Fraser Valley.

Credentials

Licensing, certification and insurance details will be listed here as they are issued. Ask us directly about the current status for any project — we would rather answer the question than let a website imply something.

Start with the drawings.

A set of plans, a building that needs a new system, or a house still on paper — any of those is the right place to begin.
